Lauren Leatherbarrow, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

ARCHITECT

Lauren trained as an architect in Kentucky and London. After practicing and registering as an architect in the United Kingdom, she returned to the United States in 1984, where she has worked in Philadelphia at H2L2, WRT, Olaya Studio and her own firm, prior to joining O Z Collaborative. Her professional experience, knowledge and creativity range across a broad range of project typologies, with a focus on institutions. Her practical experience as an architect has been complemented by extensive travel, to both historic and contemporary architectural sites throughout the world—Europe, Asia, and the Americas. An advocate for urban life, she has won accolades for community gardening and neighborhood improvement efforts in University City, where her family resides.

She likes to hold the pencil and has been called a “code geek”. When she isn’t working you will probably find her walking the office dog, Rosie, or gardening.
