Through a commission by the Department of General Services and the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum O Z Collaborative, formerly BWA, transformed a 23,000 SF outdated and deteriorating facility into a contemporary center to educate visitors and tell the story of Washington’s historic crossing and the surrounding 18th-century village of Taylorsville. The project included: landscape design, integration of environmentally controlled artifact storage, new environmentally responsible geothermal building systems, orientation and exhibit spaces, classrooms, an auditorium, and bookstore.
